Panic Attacks

Panic attacks can feel terrifying, with symptoms like a racing heart, shortness of breath, dizziness, or overwhelming fear that comes on suddenly.

If you’re experiencing panic attacks, we can work collaboratively to help you manage and reduce their intensity and frequency. Through techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), breathing exercises, and grounding techniques, we’ll work on identifying underlying anxiety and triggers, as well as developing tools to cope in the moment. Counselling can help you learn how to self-soothe when you are alone, feel more in control, and experience fewer attacks with less fear surrounding them. Through counselling, you can be empowered with the skills to regain your confidence and live without the constant worry of panic taking over.
